What is MyStans?

How do I create an account?

Click 'Register' on the home page, enter your email address, choose a secure password and confirm your age (at least 18 years). You'll receive a confirmation email to activate your account. You can only log in after verifying your email.

What is age verification?

Since MyStans may contain adult content, age verification (18+) is required at registration. This is done by providing your date of birth. Minors are not allowed to use the platform.

How can I edit my profile?

Under 'My Profile' you can adjust your display name, avatar, banner, bio and other settings. When uploading an avatar, a cropping tool with zoom, rotation and mirroring is available.

How does the wallet work?

Your wallet is your balance on MyStans. You can top it up via PayPal or other available payment methods. With your wallet balance you pay for everything on the platform: subscriptions, premium content, tips, shop products, livestream tickets and donations.

Where do I see my transactions?

Under 'Transactions' in your wallet you'll find a complete overview of all income and expenses with description, amount and date.

What are subscriptions?

Subscriptions give you regular access to a creator's exclusive content. Each creator offers either a free subscription or paid tiers (monthly and/or yearly). Subscription content is only available to you while your subscription is active.

Can I change my subscription tier?

You can switch between monthly and yearly (or vice versa) at any time, provided the creator offers both tiers. When changing tiers, your old subscription is automatically cancelled and the new one is activated.

What happens to subscription content when my subscription ends or the creator deletes a post?

Subscription content is only accessible while your subscription is active and the post exists. If your subscription is cancelled or the creator deletes a post, you lose access to this content. Note: this does not apply to individually purchased premium content (pay-per-view) – this remains permanently yours, regardless of subscription status or whether the creator deletes the post.

How can I cancel a subscription?

Go to 'My Subscriptions' in your profile and click 'Cancel'. Your access remains until the end of the period you've already paid for (grace period). You only lose access when the subscription expires. Until then you can revoke the cancellation at any time and continue using the subscription.

How long does a free subscription last?

Accepted Answer

Free subscriptions are limited to 90 days and do not renew automatically. You will receive an in-app notification 7 days before expiry. After expiry, your access to that creator's subscription-only content ends. You can renew your free subscription at no cost as long as the creator still offers a free tier at that time. If the creator has switched to paid tiers only (monthly or yearly), you must take out a paid subscription to keep access.

What happens if the creator switches to paid tiers while my free subscription is running?

Your existing free subscription remains valid until the end of its 90 days – you don't lose anything immediately. Only when your free subscription expires and you want to renew do you have to choose one of the paid tiers offered at that time.

What happens to my subscriptions if I delete my account?

If you delete your account (or an administrator initiates the deletion), all your active subscriptions are automatically and immediately cancelled. The affected creators are notified. Your profile is removed from all public areas. Your account is permanently blocked – re-registration with the same email address is not possible. Billing data is retained for legal reasons. Individually purchased premium content (pay-per-view) remains permanently in your account.

What do I find in the news feed?

In the feed you see the latest posts from the creators you've subscribed to. Posts can contain text, single images, galleries (up to 10 images to swipe through) or videos. Videos start automatically and can be paused/resumed by tapping.

What is premium content (pay-per-view)?

Some posts are paid. You see a preview (blurred or with a thumbnail chosen by the creator) and the price. After purchasing with your wallet balance, the full content is unlocked.

Does purchased media stay permanently available?

Yes! All purchased digital media (images and videos from posts or chat) remains permanently yours – even if the creator deletes the original post. On first access, the media is automatically copied to protected, permanent storage. You'll find your purchased media under 'Purchased Media' and can view and download it there at any time.

How do bookmarks work?

You can save posts with the bookmark icon. You'll find all saved posts under 'Bookmarks' in your profile.

How can I report content or users?

Via the three-dot menu on a post or in chat you can report inappropriate content or users. You'll be notified about the processing status of your report. You'll find your reports under 'My Reports'.

How do messages work?

You can contact creators directly via the messaging function, provided you have an active subscription with them. Without an active subscription, sending messages is not possible. Some creators also offer paid messages with exclusive media that you can unlock by paying.

What is a media bundle in chat?

A creator can send you up to 10 images and videos together in one message, including no more than 3 videos and up to 3 GB in total. For a paid bundle, the displayed price applies to the complete delivery; after purchase, all included media are unlocked together.

Who can send me messages?

Only creators you have an active subscription with can send you messages. Other fans or strangers cannot contact you, unless a conversation already exists between you. Blocked users can neither send nor receive.

Can I tip creators?

Yes! You can support creators directly in chat via the tip function – either enter a free amount or choose from the creator's tip menu. Tips are paid from your wallet balance.

Yes, you can block other users in chat or on their profile. Blocked users can no longer send you messages and their posts are hidden in your feed. The block can be lifted at any time.

Creators can send you voice messages (voice mails) in chat. These are shown as an audio player directly in the conversation – you can play, pause and see the duration.

How do I see all the media a creator has sent me in chat?

Open the chat with the creator and tap the gallery icon at the top right of the chat header. There you'll find a compact media library view of all images and videos sent so far – with filter tabs (All / Photos / Videos), a lock marker on PPV content not yet unlocked, and a large lightbox with pinch-zoom for images or a player for videos.

What do the lock and checkmark markers on media mean?

A small lock icon with a price means it's paid pay-per-view content that you haven't unlocked yet. A green checkmark with a price indicates that you've already purchased the content – it's permanently available in your account under 'Purchased Media'.

Can I return or get a refund for purchased digital content?

Accepted Answer

No. Digital content (PPV posts, paid messages, livestream tickets, VODs, digital shop products) is excluded from refunds after unlocking. Before each purchase you expressly confirm, in accordance with § 356(5) of the German Civil Code (BGB), that you waive your right of withdrawal once delivery has begun.

What can I do if content doesn't match the description?

As a platform operator, MyStans is only an intermediary – the contract for content is concluded directly between you and the creator. If you believe content was misleading or fraudulent, you can report the creator via the reporting system (three-dot menu → 'Report'). Choose the reason 'Fraud / Scam' or 'Inappropriate content' and describe the problem as precisely as possible. Our admin team reviews every report and can take action against the creator for repeated violations (from a warning up to permanent suspension).

Can MyStans grant me a goodwill credit?

In exceptional cases, after reviewing a justified report, the admin team may credit a goodwill amount to your wallet. There is no legal entitlement to this. The decision is at MyStans' sole discretion.

What happens to the creator if my report is justified?

Accepted Answer

For justified reports, MyStans takes graduated measures: warning, temporary restrictions up to permanent suspension of the creator account for serious or repeated violations. You'll be informed about the status of your report under 'My Reports'.

How do I buy in the creator shop?

Visit a creator's profile and navigate to their shop. There you'll find digital products (instant download), physical goods (shipped by the creator) and video greetings (personalized video messages). The purchase amount is deducted from your wallet.

What are video greetings?

You can order a personal video message from a creator. Many creators show a sample video so you know what to expect. After your order, the creator receives a notification and records the video for you. You'll be notified once your personal video is ready.

Under 'My Orders' you'll find an overview of all shop purchases with status, tracking information (for physical products) and download links (for digital products).

How do I join a livestream?

When a creator goes live, you see a banner on their profile and a notification. Some streams are free; for others you need a ticket that you buy with your wallet balance. During the stream you can interact in chat and send tips.

VODs are recordings of past livestreams. Creators can offer them for free or for a fee. You'll find available VODs on the respective creator's profile.

On a creator's profile you see active fundraising goals with a progress indicator. You can donate any amount and optionally leave a message. The amount is deducted from your wallet.

Some creators have a wishlist with links to products they'd like. You can give them a gift from the list and optionally leave a personal message.

In your profile you'll find your personal referral link and code. When someone registers via your link, you automatically receive a reward – depending on the configuration, a one-time credit or ongoing commissions. Your rewards are credited directly to your wallet and you're informed by notification.

Yes, we take data protection very seriously. All data is processed and stored in accordance with the GDPR. Your payment data is transmitted encrypted and we do not share personal data with third parties.

How do I delete my account?

You can permanently delete your account at any time under Settings → 'Delete account'. All active subscriptions are automatically cancelled and affected creators are notified. Your profile is removed from all public areas (feed, search, explore). Your account is blocked and re-registration with the same email address is not possible. Billing-relevant data is retained for legal reasons. Individually purchased premium content (pay-per-view) remains permanently yours.

Can an admin deactivate or delete my account?

Yes. An administrator can temporarily deactivate (suspend) your account or permanently delete it. With a suspension, your login is temporarily blocked, but all data and purchased media remain. The suspension can be lifted at any time. For a permanent deletion, the same rules apply as for self-deletion.

How do I contact support?

You can reach our support via the 'Support' menu item in settings. There you can create a support ticket with a category and description. We usually respond within 24 hours.

What happens to my subscription if I took it out via PayPal?

PayPal subscriptions are managed automatically via PayPal. On cancellation, the subscription is ended both on MyStans and at PayPal. Your access remains until the end of the paid period.

What is AI content moderation?

MyStans uses an AI-powered moderation system that automatically checks all uploaded content for violations of the platform guidelines. This serves your protection and that of all users. Prohibited content such as CSAM, pornography, violence and hate speech is automatically blocked. Erotic content and nudity are allowed.
